Can we think of some of the deepest times of feeling? Such as when we may have felt joy, pain, anxiety or fear?
Can we recall a moment where it may have felt like maybe even the world is falling apart?
Our prayer mat is home for us. It is home for us in the times we may feel elated - we humble ourselves to our Creator. Our prayer mat is also home for us in the times we may feel heartbroken - we are returning to the All-Hearing, the One Who truly Loves us and Sees Us. There is peace in this knowing.
InshaAllah that we may find refuge and peace, even when the world truly may seem completely out of balance - may we find the peace we seek with our prayer mat, a reminder of home and a calling.
